Social Security works to improve processes and ways for you to do business with them. In addition to the automated telephone reporting system for SSI recipients, www.ssa.gov, Social Security has developed web-based services at MySSA.gov
Everyone should sign up for MySSA.gov – you can:
- Review your annual earnings report
- Check your projected or current retirement and disability benefits
- Report address and phone number changes
- Start or change your direct deposit
- Get a benefits verification letter
Also new for SSI recipients is the SSI Mobile Wage Reporting Application. People can now report their monthly wages using their smartphone or mobile device.
You can also sign up to get monthly reminders to report your earnings. You can get these reminders through email or texts. To sign up, visit www.socialsecurity.gov
