Youth & Family Services (CLTS)
Support for youth with disabilities and their families to discover careers, build real-world skills, and take the next step toward competitive, integrated employment. Services may be funded through Wisconsin’s Children’s Long-Term Support (CLTS) Waiver Program when authorized by your county.

Getting Started with Youth & Family Services
What we offer
- Discovery & Career Planning: Hands-on exploration like job shadows and person-centered planning toward paid work.
- Community Competitive/Integrated Employment: Job development, coaching, and on-the-job supports.
- Daily Living & Safety Skills: Transportation, money concepts, technology, and community safety practice.
- Mentoring & Social Participation: Confidence-building activities and peer connection.
- Family Training & Support: Workshops and coaching for parents/caregivers.
- Career Frontiers Retreats & Summer Programs: Short, immersive events for youth and families.
Paying for Services & Eligibility (CLTS)
Services are authorized by your county’s CLTS Service Coordinator and listed in your child’s Individual Service Plan.
- CLTS is the payer of last resort and coordinates with schools (DPI/IDEA) and Wisconsin DVR for employment services.
- Many services can be delivered in the community and, when appropriate, remotely with family agreement.
- Services may be paid privately/out-of-pocket and are not limited to state-funded programs.
ERI Service Fees:
- Driving Assessment - $650
- Career Frontier Events - $300 for youth, $800 for adults
- 1:1 Discovery and Career Planning - $58 per hour
These services are funded through the Children’s Long-Term Care Program (CTLS). ERI uses market rates, also known as usual and customary rates. These are the same rates charged to the general public for similar services and are based on the cost of providing the service.
ERI service rates may vary depending on the type of service, level of support needed, length of service, staffing requirements, and service location. Rates for special events and customized services are determined based on the actual cost of service provision.
