ERI’s Pre-Driving Assessment Services provides people who have a disability with feedback about their driving abilities. It gives hands-on experience, so you can build confidence and get valuable information about moving forward with driving training.
Designed to Feel Like the Real Thing
ERI’s driving simulator incorporates a 3-screen display, automotive controls, and offers a range of adaptive controls. It’s designed to feel like the real thing.
Drivers use a full-size steering wheel, turn-key ignition, and foot accelerators. The driving simulator can be adapted to meet your unique needs including wheelchair accessibility, adaptive hand controls, and left foot acceleration.
Test Key Driving Skills
ERI uses a state-of-the-art driving simulator to test key driving skills:
- Reaction time
- Field of vision
ERI offers driving skills practice using interactive lessons customized to meet your unique needs. Skills training can include practice with:
- Pre-driving checks
- Following directions
- Driving in adverse conditions
