The Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition and co-sponsors invite you to join them for the Disability Rights and Voting: A Briefing for Policymakers and Election Officials event. Your participation can help safeguard the voting rights of people with disabilities in Wisconsin.

Attendees will brief policymakers and election officials on issues around:

  • The barriers experienced by voters with disabilities and older adults
  • Federal and state laws and policies that protect voter rights
  • Supporting accessible and inclusive elections, including laws and policies that address:
    • accessible polling places
    • curbside voting
    • accessible voting machines
    • Wisconsin’s provision for Indefinitely Confined voters
    • voting in care facilities
    • other disability related accommodations.
