Who doesn’t love fresh produce in the middle of winter? The Dane County Farmers’ Market is open to everyone, year-round.

In January 2020, Dane County’s Late Winter Market will be in the new Garver Feed Mill adjacent to Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, Wisconsin. Plan ahead to get fresh, local products to keep you healthy through the Wisconsin winter.

What to Expect

Garver Feed Mill is a newly restored turn-of-the century building complex designed to be accessible for those with disabilities. Service animals are welcome, although pets are not allowed.

You’ll find many of your favorite Dane County Farmers’ Market members offering a wide variety of locally grown and raised products, including:

  • Fruits and vegetables
  • Cheeses
  • Local meats
  • Honey
  • Bakery items

There are 100 free, on-site parking spots available to visitors at Garver Feed Mill, with additional parking available in nearby neighborhoods.

FoodShare is Welcome

The Dane County Farmers’ Market participates in Wisconsin’s FoodShare program. You can withdraw money from your EBT account at the market in exchange for market dollars. These dollars can be used to purchase food items from market vendors.
