About the Opportunity

Location: Work from home, with flexible scheduling
Employment Type: Part-time, Hourly

Employment Resources, Inc. (ERI) is seeking an hourly Accessibility Consultant to help review websites, online trainings, digital documents, and other online materials for accessibility. We are specifically looking for an individual who is blind or visually impaired and has strong experience using screen reader technology in everyday life.

About the Role

This role will help identify accessibility barriers and provide practical feedback and recommendations to improve the user experience for people with disabilities. Consultants may review websites, PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, forms, online learning platforms, videos, and other digital content using screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, or similar technology.

What You'll Do

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has lived experience as a person who is blind or visually impaired
  • Regularly uses a screen reader for work, school, or daily activities
  • Can identify accessibility issues and explain how they impact usability
  • Can communicate recommendations clearly and constructively
  • Has familiarity with digital accessibility concepts and/or Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards
  • Is comfortable working independently and providing detailed written or verbal feedback

This is a flexible, remote-friendly, project-based consulting opportunity with variable hours based on organizational needs and project availability.
